The Volunteer Housing program is celebrating its twentieth year of managing housing. With the exception of three Rural Development 515 complexes, a HUD 221(d)(3) complex, and two HUD 811 group homes, all complexes are HUD 202 complexes for seniors. This program, as revised ten years ago, provides grant money for construction and operating money to enable the elderly residents to pay rent based on their income.
