Upward Bound is federally funded by the U.S. Department of Education and sponsored by Douglas Cherokee Economic Authority, Inc. The primary purpose of the Upward Bound Program is to identify low-income and first-generation students with potential for education at post-secondary level, and encourage them to complete high school as well as undertake a program at the post-secondary level. |
