Appalachian Educational Talent Search
         Talent Search is federally funded by the Department of Education and sponsored by Douglas Cherokee Economic Authority. The primary purpose is to identify qualified students with potential for education at the post-secondary level, and encourage students to complete high school and to undertake a program of post-secondary education as well as encourage persons who have not completed high school or post-secondary education but who have the ability to re-enter and complete such programs.
